Accidentally Uninstalled Samsung Monitor Driver!

Please help!
I was uninstalling unused programs from my hard drive... I thought I was uninstalling my old samsung mobile phone but then my Samsung Syncmaster 940N went black and I only had my LG monitor running!!!!! I have NO clue how I go about getting it up again. Any help would be much appreciated!

Welcome try with a system restore

Go back to a point about 3 or more days before you changed things

If that does not work, I shall tell you how to find the driver and reinstall.

Hi,

Unplug it & plug it back in or reboot & the system should find it again!

If this was supplied as a package (OEM) you could use the driver disk, as supplied at the time of purchase, to re-install the drivers.

try using ur LG mon and reinstall the driver. tbh, i dont know how or why monitors need drivers... i never installed mine since i got my viewsonic monitor 4 years ago. works fine without it.

Yeah, windows should detect it as a Generic PnP Monitor. Try this:

Samsung

Then click on Driver. Then download it, and install it. Even though it's XP, it should work.
