Well.... ahem..... after taking a better look at my son's system it IS 64 bit! So... much ado about nothing.... put the card in, as well as a high end power supply and the card does kick ass! So the 4gb of ram are being well used and even though the card is a 512gb it seems to perform just fine with the games he has set to the highest settings.....so I guess I can get him more ram for his birthday lol......thanks again for all the replies and I hope you all have a great new year!
