Hello SK!...:)

Here's what I've decided to do. First (when it gets here) I'm going to send the G.Skill PC2 5300 back to where I purchased it from; without opening it. Them I'm going to purchase 8GB of the Dominator PC2 8500 for the new rig.

I've added the G.Skill PI Black PC2 6400 that I originally purchased for the new rig to this HP machine and it's doing great.

This is the best solution and I won't be out any money at all.

Yeah, I was just posting that when I saw your post - it includes a $30 rebate that you have to send in for, and if it is like the rebate I got on my ReaperX RAM, you have 12 days from date of purchase to file it - but I contacted OCZ support and explained to them that I had originally bought 2 packages (4 x 2) but could not use both sets as they would not fit in my machine - and had to return one, and NewEgg offered to replace both and I had to think about it - and in the end OCZ approved my rebate.
