How to keep my PC cool..????

Hi all,
Sometimes my pc goes to a temp of about 65C:cry:.... I really want to know the ways to keep the system cool:cool:.... do i need to add extra fans:rolleyes:... or some other ways to do that....:shock:???

Please suggest....:sick:

hi you need to put some specs down of your computer and what tower have you got ???

are you runing the original cooler on the processor if so changing that can make a big diffrence iam runing a zalman 9700 navdia cooler it still comes with the 4 wire plug so it will alter the fans speed when the temp goes up or down
you just have to make sure you have room in your case for it

iam runing a mini tower and got one in quit easy

for got to say my temps droped from 46c to 38c at idle and 59c to 46c at load

i have run prime 95 a few times the max it has hit is 59c and that was runing it for quite a few hours

the cooler cost me just under £50 from ebay

have you got any pics of your tower that you can post up

Also sometimes the games gets closed automatically on my PC... Is temperature a reason for this behavior....

there could be a few reasons why they are closing you will need to do a full spec list of what you have got runing in the machine

Actually i am not a advanced user... just a game freak... thats why i need to know all the thing required to keep up my system performance.....

Also any additional s/w to boost up my sys performance....

well if you go on to the zalman website and have a look at that cooler it does support the old and new amd quad core cpu's
i have the cpu above yours and iam runing one and it has made a big diffrence to my cooling

Thanks:).... I just got confused with its compatibility:rolleyes:.....
One more thing.... is it good to keep my cabinet open.... i.e without its side lid.... does it make any diff.... :sarc:

Do i need to give any external power supply to this cooler.... also do i need to have a big cabinet or a medium size(my current cabinet) is enough for this cooler...:huh:????

Sorry :shock:for asking these many question... actually this is the first time i am connecting any cooler... a bit nervous...:eek:!!!

keep the side of the case on so air follw will be better

there is no external power need for the cooler just use the 4 wire plug that will conect to your mother board

iam runing a mini asus tower and it fits fine in mine
