Windows Vista home premium 64 bit

Hello all

I have an Acer PC with all the Acer junk in it, I was thinking of buying Windows Vista Home Premium full version and doing a clean intall so I just have Vista stuff and no Acer junk to deal with

The stores in Canada want 300 bucks for a full version of Home Premium 64bit, I've seen the same thing on Ebay ranging from 99 to 130 bucks but I am a little leary of which one I should buy, they have product numbers on them, I tried to find out which number is for which version but had no luck

here is the product # for this one particular one I was interested in, its $119.00 US

Anyone know if the number for this version is in fact the full 64bit version that I need to do a clean install?

One other thing, will a full OEM version of Premium 64 bit give me (x86) 32 bit AND (x64) compatabilty?
Currently, my C: drive shows both

got UK spec home vista 64 bit, it came with SP1 installed, good thing on OEM is that no-one will have the licence key, if the key has been already used on the ebay version, it will not validate and best of luck getting money back. However it would be classed as selling pirate software by MS and u might get it that way

if you Got it from HP , Dell you might be aible to an Up grade at Purchase Price at Descression of the Compony Policy.

We are getting a Best Buy in the town that I live in very shortly, the problem is, I want the FULL OEM version and its 299.00, even at Best buy

Ebay vendors claim they have the FULL OEM Version of Home Premium 64 bit for about half the price and they have COA (Code of Authinticacy(sp?)), never been registered and have valid regitration keys

In any case, I may take my chances and go for one on EBAY
