I don't know if forum members are getting nags about upgrading to Windows10
I have uploaded a small program to remove all associated files including the hidden downloaded files that contain this operating system from your computer
It is in my tools section. Get Windows 10 Removal Tool

Those of us who are still running Vista do not qualify for the free Windows 10 upgrade, but running Windows Update seems to have become much more resource-intensive since the Windows 10 upgrade push began.

Some people are finding it has already downloaded 3.7 Gigs waiting to install
This has blown their data caps in some cases
This program I uploaded will delete these hidden files as well
This program is not really needed for Vista but some people are running later systems as well

With the current situation it's always best to point to the developers site as the situation with MS is in continuous flux. On a general note it's also good practice to link to the relevant download page rather than a direct download so a user can see any related warnings or latest documentation :)

I haven't got anything from the Windows 10 idiots about wanting to upgrade.
Honestly, I dunno why Microsoft think Vista cannot be upgraded, yet Vista to 8.1 are all compatible with 10 since they're basically the same thing inside.

And if they are pushing so many updates they could at least try to annoy people still using XP to upgrade seeing how much they hate that too, like with IE6. They had a celebratory party that XP and IE6 were dead on 8/4/2014 (US readers, this is 8th April to you confusing date writers) or something, yet they can't be bothered to force-upgrade everyone to IE8 and such to kill it even more?
