no "Accessories" listed

Have got yet another Vista machine that is one heck of a mess. I have managed to get a net connection via a card and done a lot of clearing out of (17GB) rubbish!

When I was first bought this machine there was no Start display at all and now that I have got it back to some normal state am working through your optimisation tutorial.

However in the list of programs there is no "Accessories" listed. Is there some way to get these back?

I don't know what this ladies kids did to this machine but it is in one heck of a state still.

Not sure what this had to do with the disable/enabled Index tutorial that you posted it in, but the tutorial below can help restore any missing shortcuts in the Start Menu.

Sorry Shawn I just posted from the window I happened to be in and was looking disabling the defrag and couldn't t find it in the Start > Programs.

No Shawn but I have found it in the other account.

Heaven knows what her kids have done to this machine as I am having to try a reinstall on what I am suspecting is a dud drive as well as the other problems.

Frankly I think I might advise her to run a 32bit 7 on a new drive s the system is more than capable of it even a 64bit I reckon - ASUS P5KPL-VM Motherboard with E7500duo core and 4GB of DDR2 1066 RAM
