Fixing redundancy of two "favorites", on two different ribbons

O.K. here goes,

When I click on my I.E. explorer icon on my desktop I have 4 horizontal "ribbons" excluding the explorer address bar/search/refresh and google icon on top of my screen...

The ribbon under the I.E. or top ribbon, (I will now designate ribbon #1), and below that #2 and so on for this thread.....

Here is my problem, as indicated in my thread title........

Ribbon #2 is my important one,
File, Edit, View, Favorites,Tools, Help and one more very important icon.


Ribbon # 3 is blank, except for the 'X" to disable.

Ribbon #4 has Favorites, my tabs, and home page,print, safety, tools, and help again as noted above. How do I just get rid of the favorite option and all the digital space it might contain? I know this seems a rather simple question, but trust me I have my reasons on asking...

BTW, I have the same exact listings or addresses in both favorites but for one thing....95% of the sites or address logo's are missing in ribbon#1 and have the I.E. explorer symbol to the left of the site's name in ribbon #1..Is there a way to replace the E.I. logo with the site's logo?...I can find the sites much faster by looking for the logo, kinda' like looking at someones face rather than a long alpha numeric code for each person.(Obviously).

I would have posted a screen shot but I'm not that cleaver with these little friendly computer beasts.... I do know there are intructions to do "screenies" here on the forum.

I promise, I searched diligently before starting this new thread...

I might use this as a sig.."If I use the wrong technical terminology when post'in please critique, or correct me...I am a old school electronics instructor, not a computer person, and can take it!"

I'm gunna' snoop around a bit more, I just found sumpthing called the favorites center.....again I'm going to go nose around.....I'll report back....

I'm starting to feel like a secret agent or sump'in!!

If I understand correctly, just right click on the bar and then customize.

If that does not work, right click and you can choose the bars that you want. That second favorites may be the method to organize favorites.

Roger that,Yea, Might have not seen the tree because of the forest....They are linked directly together, if one parameter changes, I add a new site to one, it's added to the other favorite menu....

Ohhh O.K. Now I got it (read understand)...The lower bar is just an extention with the other "tabs" like where I am at now " Vista Forums-R"......

In other words, the machine is just telling me I used the Favortes to get where I am at now.. Gezzzzzzzzz...

O.K. Rich, call off the dogs...Dummy here has got the bone.....
