Windows Media Player 11 won't open

I double click it, it goes to the little "loading" symbol for maybe 1 second and then stops and it don't open. I run as administrator and nothing happens. I'd rather not do a system restore but if I have to I will. Any ideas on how to fix this?

System Restore might do it, but if you then repeat whatever caused it, you'll end up in the same boat.

Check in Event Viewer (System and Application), and see if there's anything there around the time the problem started.
