Please help network keep identifyinggg!!!

Ok about 2 hours ago my laptop was still working great, then Norton reported the Win32.IRCbot, then blue screen with a bunch of words appears, and 30 seconds later the pc shut off. I turned it back on, and clean the virus with Norton, its now fully removed by Norton. But then my internet is now keep on Identiying.. which bugged me alot ... now matter what i've tried.. plugged out and in the modem, reset it.. and everything its still identifying. I have 2 pc 1st I thought it was ATT problem but then I've tried to worked on my desktop, it didnt work at 1st but after I re-register with att my desktop is now able to access to the internet. But my laptop is still IDENTIFYING!!! PLEASE HELP ME I'LL BE STAYING UP ALL NIGHT TO WAIT FOR YOUR HELP
I WENT TO COMMAND PROMT AS A ADMIN
and ipconfig
showed my IPv4
subnet mask
everything else below is media discconected
and my modem is gateway 2 wire

hi and welcome

first thing you need to do is to type device manager in search. go to the network tab. Is your wifi listed? does it have a yellow triangle on it? are there any other "unknown" device list with yellow triangles on them?

Many people in a similar situation reported that the virus was gone. Running a scan with malwarebytes proved differently. Run this, make sure that you are really clean.

Once that is done Ken or other members of the forum will be able to give additional advice.

thank you zigzag n richie. a friend told me to restore the system before it get virus, and internet is actually working. But I cant open Norton, and also i used to be able to host warcraft3 but even after i reset the router, firewall i cant still be able to host.

If you have IPv6 turned on, you might try turning that off and see if that improves things.

i had a simliar problem keeps on identyfing [local accsess only] i read somewere that norton removel tool corrects the problem never having any norton software on pc i was a bit doutful of a success too my amaisment it worked try it nothing ventured ect
