see i put some picture that were on some disc of mine on the computer and in windows photo gallery i went to crop a picture and it says this picture can't be saved because of a problem with the picture's file properties so i went to the pictures property and i tryed to removed the personal property and it says an unexpected error is preventing the operation. make a note of this error code, which might be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem error 0x88982F05: no error decription available i am just saving it in windows photo gallery and i have windows vista

I don't see that error message anywhere.
What media are you copying it from? Could you copy the file to another name on the same media and try cropping it?

The picture is yours right? not copy writed? the error is defined as out of range. that just means that if numbers 1-10 are OK the number the save tried to enter was some else (like 23)

the picture are mine they was on my computer before and i took all the picture on my computer and put them on disc using window photo gallery and i put the disc back in and put a couple of the picture back on the computer because some want a copy of the pictures and i try to crop it and that happen the only media tj=hing i have on my computer is windows i have a my printer & scanner software on my computer but these pictures did not go on to the computer with my scanner they were come from, my mermory cards i edited them before with no problem but now that i took the off and put them disc and i put them back they show this error
