My Pc ran out of battery while installing Vista !!!

Off course, I don't have the Vista's installation CD... I simply bought a new notebook, I opened it, and it automaticaly starts to install windows and all...without any CD's ! But the installation stopped in the middle because I ran out of battery (dumb). So when I am restarting my Pc, it says that Windows can't finish to install, retry the installation program.

Where can I do that ? in Safe Mode ? In BIOS ? Do I abselutely need the CD ?

It shouldn't have let you install on battery, but. when you re-boot does it give you the option to install, or start windows normally, or something like that?

How did it start installing vista after you opened it? :sarc: Elaborate. P;is like zigzag already stated usually the system won't allow that to run on battery power, requires A/C power for that purpose exactly.

No when I reboot windows is loading, then appears the welcome page of windows Vista family edition premium, it's loading for few second and then appear a pop-up that says : Windows did not finish the installation. To finish install Windows on your computer, reboot the installation program.

What a shame. That's exactly why you should not have been allowed to proceed on battery power. I think you need to contact the manufacturer and request the operating system media.

Now would be a good time to update your drivers, and then create an image of Vista which you can restore. Try Macrium Reflect Free.
