Hi,
I have these large arrows on my desktop shortcuts??
Is it possible to remove them?
And if so??, will it cause the program to stop working??, or,
any other errors to occur?

Thanks
Rip:confused:

Riptorn:

There are at least two ways to do this. One ( the most common one on the Web) is likely to cause problems.

It involves registry changes whose effects aren't limited to the shortcut arrows.

The second method is safer. Since the arrow is really a second icon overlaying
the base icon,it's possible to use a transparent icon as the overlay. The arrow's
still there but is invisible.

If I can track down the second method I'll post again.
