Activation - Extend Trial Period

How to Extend Vista Trial Period for Up to 120 Days

information   Information
Vista gives you a 30 day trial period before you have to activate Vista or pay for a product key number. This will show you how to extend the trial period 30 days at a time for up to 3 times for a total of 120 days before you must either activate with a legally purchased product key number or uninstall Vista.

Microsoft has allowed this rearm option to extend this trial period for another 30 days for up to 3 times.

3 (rearms) x 30 (days) = 90 (days extended) + 30 (default days) = 120 days total trial period.

A) This will not work if you have the Vista SP1 (Service Pack) installed

It works fine with Vista including SP1.
Check before that in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SL
SkipRearm should be "0"
Just tested on a new install with of course a good license key used during the setup as 2 days ago was the last day before activation.
Don't work if SkipRearm key value is "1" and maybe if the trick was already used before installing SP1.

Hello The Geek,

Did you recieve any errors while doing this?

Have you already done this before for all 3 times? If so, it will not work again and a reinstall must be done to do it again.

No, they did not deactivate the function.
If you used your "credits" before SP1, no more credits are available after having installed SP1 (logical).
If you did not use your credits, then installed SP1, you still have your 4 credits to run (logical too).
Tested by me on a new SP1 install 102 days ago, 14 days left before activation.
I wait, though i have a full retail ultimate license, just to test the new "reduced" mode and check if a registry trick can add 120 more days, but i won't publish the trick if it works ;)

There Is Many Trick That Can Also Activate Windows, Anyway......

Those are not tricks, they are just illegal things!
Here we are only talking about a legal way to extend vista trial period!
Skiprearm has been included in Vista by its creators, so playing with it is legal.
The only way to activate Vista is to purchase a license, end of story.

My Computer

No That Not. We Can Use Trial Extension Or Something, Not Sure To Make 99 Year Or Some Thing Activated Windows. That One. It Also A Vista Bug... Right?

That One. It Also A Vista Bug... Right?

Not really, you always can crack any progs including Vista.
You are allowed to play with the tools included in Vista but you are not allowed to modify them, that makes a big difference.
I told you the only legal thing regarding activation is by using a real license, skiprearm has nothing to do with activation as it is just a tool allowing some companies for example to have enough time to activate all their machines since the corporate auto-activate editions do not exist anymore, today even with a "corporate" license, you have to activate all machines.
The problem is that MAYBE by using an internal Vista tool the skiprearm function could work for ever, not really a bug as it is very well hidden, i just would say that the skiprearm function has been writen too quickly. We'll see, i'll let you informed here :)
