Hey Stormy,

I know that you know I just upgraded from XP Home to Vista Ultimate. I thought I had a killer machine (built from the case up by moi), but the requirements you list above for ZA - specifically, the memory - is leaving me flat. I have 2GB of RAM and two quad-core CPU's; plus a killer video card to take as much strain for that off the main processors as possible (can't wait to get a nice HD monitor and hook it up via the HDMI port!).

I guess I'm asking.... What is the preferred amount of memory for Vista Ultimate? Also, MS Support recommended a 50GB system partition. Do you all think that is enough??? I haven't done too many patches yet (only what I could via this stupid dial-up connection at the moment), but I am already using half of the 50GB and that is worrying me too.

Any and all opinions very much welcome. Thanks and greetings from sunny Naples, FL.

Right now, I'm on a darn dial-up connection because my wife and I recently seperated. But... I'm heading out in a bit to buy a USB wireless deal and see if I can jump on the broadband connection this motel has. Don't know.... they said that I might not be able to because I'm on the perimeter of a big complex (far away from the office, which I guess is where the router is). If I can't get that,
