Solved *.zip problem

I'm not sure if you guys can help me with this, but I can't think of anyplace else to ask.
I'm running Vista Home Premium x64. Somehow my .zip files will only open with Object Dock Plus from the Wincustomize site.
I know how to change the default program to open .zip files but I don't know what to change it to.
Anyway, when I right click a *.zip file, there is no EXTRACT in the menu. So I can't try changing it that way.

I'm sure I explained this badly so if you need any more info please just ask me.

Have you already tried this tutorial to see if it can restore ZIP for you?

No need to purchase a program. The free 7-Zip is a great one to use.

Pea Zip is also free, and there are a host of other free archive programs that work nicely in Windows Vista.

It sounds like a file assocation issue. May I suggest you get 7zip (7-Zip) and go into options and select all the extensions then ok.

7zip will also add an extract option in windows explorer.
