XP-Vista Dual Boot Internet Problem

Hello everyone. I'm new to this website.

I have a new computer which has got Windows XP and Windows Vista 32bit dual booted. I am able to access the Internet on Windows Vista, but when I switch over to XP, I cannot access the Internet.

I use a D-Link Wireless G Desktop Adapter. I had installed the driver software on XP. When I select my wireless network, it starts to connect. But then, it keeps on doing this for a little bit. Then it fails, and it keeps on repeating this. I also keep on receiving a pop-up message that says that there are wireless connections found, but when I click on the balloon, it says that there were no wireless connections found.

I would REALLY love some help. Could anyone here be able to help me?

Do you have all your updates in XP especially the SP2 and 3?

I had the same problem and it came down to the way my security worked in Vista. ((WPA-Personal) AES) and XP did not recognise it until i did the updates.
