I have had trouble with my comp for a while now. Turned out to be a knackered monitor. I took my PC to a shop thinking it was that and when I got it back I had a weird problem. I have an Ati Sapphire X1550, it will boot up with the standard VGA drivers, but if I install any kind of driver for it, when I reboot, I get a Blue Screen saying Machine check Exception. No trouble with VGA drivers, but Blue screen with new and old drivers.
Any idea's what's wrong, untill I get running on my graphics card, I can't install my new Samsung monitor.
