I wonder what's your favorite movies. Which one would you recommend to watch?

My last one is the District 9 about aliens camp in South Africa. The second movie Twilight about a teenage girl and a vampire who fall in love.

I'm not the most up-to-date as far as popular entertainment goes, but I just recently saw American Gangster and really liked it. I was surprised that it was actually based on a true story!!

Oh, and The Internet Movie Database is a very good source to read about movies...

I don't have any favourites and I can't remember the last time I went to the cinema, probably in my teens. :p

Don't watch them very often on the television either or the computer, don't have a TV Tuner card installed and haven't got the time to just sit through a film ;)

OK, I saw that one and had to stop myself from falling asleep (I didn't end up seeing it through). I am a fan of sci-fi, but this movie had too much eerie music and slow build-up to keep my attention. I previously saw A Clockwork Orange, hearing so much about it. I didn't get it. Is there something I'm missing about Stanley Kubrick? Why do I hear so much about him, yet I don't see anything in his movies?

I didn't say I hadn't seen some of those films just that I didn't have any favourites and sport films would be a definite no no apart from Cool Runnings that was good.

I enjoyed both the Short Circuit films as well but most of my films have been when they've been shown on the television and only if I thought it might be good, probably still never sat through one right through though. Another I liked was Orca, got that on video and some of the Star Wars films and Indiana Jones.

Got quite a wide variety of films on video but never watch them :p

My favourite movie is(was) "Battery not included" and "Back to the Future"(all of them)comes a good second.

The Space Oddesey 2001 was good, but for my taste too long. I like the Back To The Future however didn't see the Battery Not Included. Yeah, the Short Circuit, part one and two were fine and I enjoyed them, also. Recently, I saw very similar to them the Wall E, about small trash compactor robot named WALL-E who was left to clean the Earth of trash by 2105.
