Word problem

Word opens just fine but will not close properly. When I save and close, it gives an error message and tries to open the Word application again to a blank page.

Here is what is in the Event Viewer (Does HP have anything to do with this?)

Try opening Word in safe mode and see if the problem persists. To do that, hold down the ctrl key while you open Word. If that fixes it, there's probably an add-on causing the problem. We'd have to go through those.

The file it references is related to HP printer drivers. You may want to check those drivers. You might try uninstalling it, or switching to another printer. There's a chance it will cause problems in your other MS Office applications until this is fixed.

Okay. Try it again not in safe mode (on the off chance it sorted itself out). If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer (and printer drivers).

Good luck.
