Wise Uninstall error message

When I try to uninstall programs in Vista, I get an error message that says,
"Wise Uninstall at the top and the message is, "Could not open INSTALL.LOG
file." I reinstalled the problem program and uninstalled it again(Verizon VZmanager software) . But it only installed and uninstalled that version. I still have the original program with the same "Wise Uninstall message" I have already contacted the software manufacturer but they are baffled as well. Does anyone know what that is? Help!

You might like to get this free app. - it works perfectly on x64 machines , though it only recognizes 32bit apps. - which is pretty much all of them. I find it essential.

If that doesn't work....

It sounds like you installed the newer version over the old one, thereby replacing the original version's install.log with the new one. Try this - install the newer version again, then copy the install.log to another location - uninstall the newer version, then coop the install.log back to the same location, then try running the uninstaller for the old version again.
