Windows.Old huh, I am already disliking this setup... but that's just me of course, I am a little anal about doing a fresh install over an old one, I rather format and start clean.
Anyways, did you do all the windows update yet?
What about updating the drivers for the wireless adapter?
Workgroup name the same as router SSID name?
How are you trying to connect to it?
