Wireless Boosters ?

Just looking for some advice re broad band wireless transmission in my home, I have D Link set up but there are blind spots that I just can’t get around or through so I thought some sort of signal booster or relay would do the trick any thoughts please?

Hello, i know that if you set up an Access Point , say in the Attic, you may get better coverage . I will check for some options for you.

The best rule of thumb for getting the best coverage from your Access Point is to centrally locate it in the area where you want to be able to get a signal. If your house is the primary area of use you should find a location as close to the center of the house as possible. If you want coverage in your back yard you might think about moving the Access Point closer to the rear of the house.

Hi,

I use a Edimax Technology Extender: -

Edimax Wireless N Range Extender / Access Point : Wireless Range Extenders/Access Points : Maplin Electronics

Connected to the router via wire & it is brill. No blind spots & 200M range (Claims 300), but not really tested it.
