Alright, so here's the deal. I have a Lenovo n100 laptop with Vista on it. For some reason, the wireless keeps getting disabled on it. From what I understand, as long as it's connected to a network it's ok. I've checked all the power management options under power options and device manager; both are set to not turn it off ever. I've installed the latest drivers and even uninstalled them, letting windows install the default ones.
When the computer turns on the light is on for a bit, but after about 5-10 mins the light goes off. When I do a diagnose and repair, it tells me that I need to turn on wireless capabilites. When this happens the wireless light on the laptop is off. If I click the switch to turn the wireless off then on, the only thing that happens is the bluetooth turns off and on. Once I do a repair, it seems to be ok and won't turn off. What could be causing this?
