Hi Gang

The last few days been having trouble with WLM I keep getting this little box saying my account has been temporarily deactivated. I know WLM has been having all sorts of poblems like this recently. I use my WLM account mainly for Craigslist type e-mail, and Ebay too. And I know the reputation CL has with there site and getting bugs.

Does anyone know what to do with this little box advising me to contact support, (I hate doing that). Do I really need to do this or is there some other kind of fix for this.?

Thanx.....Gunny

Hi welcome to the forum
Researching I cannot find, at the moment a way to stop the notice, short of actually contacting customer services.
It may be a fault, as you suggest, BUT IT MAY NOT.
There might genuinely be a problem? Password, infringement etc.
Maybe contact them, see if it is a genuine reason? From their side if it is good reason they will keep sending!
The link is Windows Live help, where your issue is covered briefly. But site full of good tips.
Sorry I could not be of more help to you.

Hope this helps.

Your issue involves either or both of the followings :
Violation of code of conduct, i.e. spamming etc.
Violation of Windows Live Policy.

Either way, it is strictly between you and Windows Live. 3rd party can NOT help you.

You have to deal with their contact support people personally.

Hello there
Mainly, all Windows Live Mail are related to the protocols used to synchronize your information. Check your account if you're using Live account with HTTPS, because this would be very secure when using the browser but it might cause problems with Outlook Hotmail Connector, Windows Live Mail and The Windows Live application for Windows Mobile and Nokia. You may change this setting from your account page by clicking on Connect with HTTPS under Other Options to "Don't use HTTPS automatically" that would allow you to switch between HTTP when you're logged in from the applications and to HTTPS when you're logged in from the browser; however you would need to confirm that you want to brows using HTTPS from your browser.

Good Luck :D
