I have had to re-install Vista 32 bit several times since I have had PC.
Each time restoring the My Documents & Windows Mail folder.
I think the very complex file structure is now a disaster waiting to happen ...
For example if I look at Window Mail UI I see a typical structure
Local Folder
C:\users\name\app data\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders\Imported Folder\Local Folder\Recovered Mail\02-15-2010\Local Folder\Filed Mail
This is obviously a result of the restores .... is there any utility that will help clean up the data base ?
On most recent rebuild some mails will not restore with error that path is too long.
AS an example I show 2 pictures .. one the Windows Mail UI view of my 'Creative' folder and the same view of where the files are on the drive.
