windows vista sidebar

ok I'm having problem with sidebar...
i can't add gadget in sidebar..i can see all gadgets in add gadget menu and i can add all preinstalled gadgets but i can't add any new gadgets from add gadget menu to sidebar...and yes i tried so many gadgets but still not working and i'm using windows vista home premium 32 bit version.
