windows vista dep problem

hi
not along time ago i brought a game
and after installing it i tried to start it and it didnt work because the dep closed it.
and i tried to cancel the dep on this program and it tells my i cant do this because this program have to be started with dep.
so i tried to cancel the dep with cmd
and when i write:bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
it says:The Boot configuration data store could not be opened access is denied
and i tried to update my windows and after installing the updates it still dont work.
so what do i do ??? plz help me

Hello Itai1998,

You can fix this problem by adding this Application to my DEP list.

1. Open My Computers. Right click it and go to "Properties".
2. Then go to "Advanced System Settings" on the right, and then the "Advance" tab.
3. Click "Settings" for "Performance" and then go to the "Data Execution Prevention" tab.
4. Check "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select:"
5. Then click add, and find (Browse) and select your "Application" this folder.
6. Click apply then okay and everything.
7. Reboot.
And after you click start on the "application", it should work now.

Note: If you running game through "Patch", try to select patch.exe in place of application.
