Windows Mobile Device Center. Help needed!

I currently have a very severe problem with the Windows Mobile Device center program. I have tried to uninstall it the old conventional way and it is still appearing as a program on my programs list and it still runs normally yet it does not appear on remove programs list in my control panel. I would like to remove it completely because i believe it is interfering with my itunes. Ever since i have downloaded the program my itunes wont even open, i simply get a msg saying there is an error and i need to reinstal it. So if anyone is aware of a simple method to remove WMDC off my computer permanently and easily plz let me know.

Hi,

Well here is the conventional way (you have to remove two components from Add/Remove Programs)

• Open the Start menu

• Click Control Panel

• Click on Uninstall or Change a Program

• Select Windows Mobile Device Center from the program list and click Uninstall

• Select Windows Mobile Device Center Driver Update from the program list and click Uninstall

You can also try to remove it using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Install and run this utility and then remove anything to do with Windows Mobile Device Centre. Since the Microsoft download website doe not appear to be working, I have attached the installer.
