 Is it possible with windows media player 11 to copy a CD directly to another CD with out copying or ripping the songs to the hard drive first. I have two drives and when I try to drag the songs over to the burn column they will not go.

I have Vista 64 Home Premium. Thanks so much for all your help. It has been driving me crazy,

Windows media player doesn't have an option of copying files.... but Ashampoo® - We Make Software! is free or you can pay for Nero and you can copy from your Cd-drive and burn it directly to another CD without saving it to your hard drive

Ummm

There is a great little application for use on Windows XP and Vista, both 32bit and 64bit, that will allow you to *directly* copy from CD to CD - it's called ISO Recorder v 2

It integrates with Windows Explorer so you don't even have to run another program....
