Hello I am new to this forum, maybe you can help me out.

I have computer with Vista Basic and in wondows mail there are quite a few folders I would like to transfer to my new computer which will now be the primary computer with Windows 7. How do I proceed to transfer, copy these imporatant folders to my new computer?

Welcome

When I went to 7 from Vista, I used easy transfer. Look into it. It transferred my mail with no problems. It can also transfer settings, favorites, cookies etc, even the desktop. Its your call

Another and probably better method is to use the import export feature located under the files tab.
