Windows Mail: Sent items

Hi. I use Windows Mail on Vista with an IMAP account through AOL.

Mail is sent, but remains in the Outbox rather than being copied to my IMAP Sent Items folder.

It then seems that this sent (but uncopied) mail blocks the sending of any subsequent mail I write.

If I manually move the sent item to the Sent Items folder, any stacked mail is then sent - but again is not copied to the Sent Items folder.

This problem is quite recently - previously all has worked perfectly.

Any solutions?

Welcome Keith
The firs thing that I would do is update to Windows Live Mail. That should solve the problem. You are using an outdated email client, which may no longer function the way that it should.
