I have read multiple postings but do not see a problem like mine. I will be able to delete a certain number of e-mails from the inbox (up to 10), but then the program will no longer allow me to delete, transfer or reply to e-mails, and will also not send or receive new e-mails. If I restart the computer I will then be able to manage a limited number of e-mails again.

It sounds like you may have a stuck message in the Inbox folder. Check with "Problem One" in this tutorial to see if may be able to help you fix this problem.

I'm sorry to hear that none of the options in Problem One helped you. In that case, you might try the free Windows Live Mail to see how it works for you instead. IMO it is better and more stable.
