Windows mail problem

When creating new mail, replying to an emaill or opening an email windows mail drops it down to the task bar then I have to right click and maximize the task to continue. This just started happening for no apparent reason. Any ideas?

Are you running mail from a shortcut where you have things set to run minimized or do you have the mail app open and they click on create, reply and send and it shoots down to the task bar ?

the mail app is open. have been running this for over a year and the problem just began yesterday

Have you tried restoring to a point before this started happening?
