Windows Mail image attachments

Hi i am new to this and i dont know if i am in the right place or not but,
I am after info on how to add pictures to windows mail.
When i try using (se4nd to mail recipient) it asks for what size i want to attach them so i selct the size, hit attach and then nothing.
It wont open a new mail message box and if i go into windows mail there is nothing in there.
i have tried the sfc /scannow thing and it makes no difference.
Could you please help.

Hi James, and welcome to Vista Forums.

Windows Mail does not ask you what size you want. Are you sure you are using Windows Mail?

In Windows Mail from a compose email message window, you can click on Insert and File Attachement to have a file attached to the email showing the file name in the Attach area un the Subject line. Another option is to click on Insert and Picture to have a image inserted into the email to be seen. You can scale this image by dragging the border to the size you want it though.

Check from the main (first) Windows Mail screen to make sure that you have Save copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder checked in Tools, Options, Send tab.
