Windows Live 2009 not downloading error in key

Hi there,

I downloaded WL2009 in its beta, and then chose to revert back to WL2008.


Now, I want WL2009 to download, but each time I go through the installing process, it "rolls back" and I'm getting these errors and one of them says:

Windows Live Communications Platform could not write value to key

\Software\Class\Interface\{EDC04A15-FC52-4B4D-AB6A-0990651CB447}\ProxyStudyClsid32

I went into the registry to look at this key and when I clicked it, it says the system cannot find the file specified.

Well, problem solved. I uninstalled Windows Live 2008. I don't know what I tinkered with, but I finally got 2009 to work.
