Windows Home Premium Edition + Connection status: Unknown

Alright the problem is that i've got this "Connection status: Unknown". I have found solution here: Connection Status: unknown access is denied - Super User
Well I tried them both.. On first one the problem is that I have Windows Home Premium and it doesn't have "Local Users and Groups".
Second has the problem that when I type in "net localgroup Administrators Local Service /add", it says that there is no such group.

What am I supposed to do in this situation?

The only thing that I want to access is "Network Connections" to change my MAC adress but I can't access it because I have "Connection status: Unknown".

This is getting really complicated..

Why do you want to change your MAC Address? The way it is now, can you get on the Internet ok? Do you have an icon down on the Notification area of the Task bar that has 2 monitors together?

I have no problems with using internet and I have 2 screens with red X over it. When weeling mouse over it says "Connection status: Unknown". When I open Network Connections I can't see my connection in there. I need to change MAC adress for personal reasons.
