My windows email has stopped accepting emails and is not working. The password manager always comes up and I do not know for why I haven't got a password that I can remember. Then another box comes up with an error message. The message has come up for a long time but I have just ignored it as well as the password manager I have worked around them.

Account: 'POP3', Server: 'POP3.blueyonder.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Protocol error.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC91 How am I supposed to know what that means you need a degree in gobbledekook to understand this? Can some kind person help please?

Both my husband and I have the same problem on 2 different computers. We can receive email but cannot send email because the password window keeps popping up and not accepting our info. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the accounts until I'm blue in the face. Windows mail keeps changing the POP port settings on top of not allowing us to send. I purchased the recommended Registry Booster, scanned and fixed all errors then uninstalled and reinstalled account again. Nothing changed. When is MS going to fix this problem that has been plaguing users for over 2 years and what can I do besides install Windows Live or buy a Mac?

You definitely are not alone. I have seen posts for the same problem since 2008.
