January 31st 2010 also seems to answer the "when will 7 be out" question there! Just like Vista was out on 1/31/07 7 will be available on 1/31/10. XP and other versions also saw January release dates.

The move of the date forward a few days will be good there as an offer for those who bought new without knowing to wait just a few days more for the 7/1/09 original. "Well the pc was a birthday present for ... on 6/29 or 6/30. I had to buy before 7/1."
