Windows 7 Packaging Released

Just thought I’d drop in and let everyone know that the official images of the new Windows 7 packaging are out.

Check them out here at the Windows 7 Team blog: Windows 7 Team Blog - The Windows Blog

I’m biased, but I like them. Simple, clean, and environmentally friendly – can’t beat that.

Drop your comments in the thread.

Cheers,

Many thanks. I think I feel a new computer with a new OS coming on.:)

Personally,I don't give a Rat's Rear End about the packaging etc.,so long as the contents are genuine and actually WORK !! I run XP,Home +Pro (x86),Vista Home Premium x64,x32, Vista Ultimate x86,x64,Win.7 Ultimate x86 and could not care less what sort of pretty packet the thing comes in..the packet is just that..it does nothing, just sits in a cupboard .On the different flavoured OS...I do love Vista..always have, and am so far extremely impressed with Win7.I think by the October release, some changes will definitely be made, possibly for the better, and it only remains for me to come up with reasons why I absolutely cannot live a reasonable life without the purchase of the aforementioned essential item in terms the WAF cannot refute. ( I'm working on it..and her) Even bought flowers today!!

Even I'll admit, I had a hard time opening that Vista packaging. If I can open it easier and help the environment out a bit, I'm all for it!

I'll be honest and say that the packaging my Vista Ultimate came in is now around 8 or 9 pieces. I felt terrible when opening that damned thing. I'm planning to pre order my copy and am going to be expecting it a week or 2 after October 22nd since i'll get it through my cousin in Japan. Shipping is a lot cheaper (not even sure if it's legal) than having to pay the full retail price. Any piece of advice will be greatly appreciated.
