Window update trouble

Well, everytime after i perform the window update for my PC, i notice that a huge number of space is taken up. How can i view the updated file and delete the unnecessary ones? I can't find the update file.

I try to perform this:C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore" Delete "DataStore.edb".

Is this enough?

If i delete it, will it affect anything? Thanks
Of course not :).As I said this folder only stores download updates independenly hotfixes are already installed or not, installed hotfixes are stored in completly different locations
C:\Windows\Servicing\Packages and in C:\Windows\WinSxS.Even more it is recomended from time to time clear SoftwareDistribution folder likely clearing TEMP folders.Removing SoftwareDistribution is also recommend if you have any issue with WU.How do I reset Windows Update components?

Are there anymore update file i can clear to get back more space? Thanks again.
No.But afer each updating is created new system restore checkpoint - it take much place and VSS defaultly reserve 15% space of your hdd on checkpoints. You can remove the oldest checkpoints and put more restrictions for VSS but don't disable system restore completly -many times it is only way to rescue system.Read below

After i cleared the whole C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder and all recent restore points, i still can't get back most of the space, is there anything else i should delete?

I just dunno what is taking up so much of my Disk space.
