Hi roley,

You should be able to remove the two programs you do not need through control panel - programs and settings. I don't think it's possible to remove windows mail from vista as it is tightly integrated into the OS. Outlook may be part of the office suite and so must be removed via the modify install option for office

As an alternative to windows mail you may want to check out windows live mail as this is fully supported by Microsoft where as windows mail is not being actively supported any longer

Downloads - Windows Live

hope this helps

You wont be able to use Outlook Express in Vista anyway it will not work and I don't think you can even install it.
I'd go with Nigel's suggestion and get Windows Live Mail, you'll be able to have all your email accounts read newsgroups and RSS Feeds all in one convenient place. :D

Thanks for your help on this. I should have said MS Office outlook in lieu of
Outlook Express Now I have to figure out which way to go and which programs
to try and remove.

If your not short of space then I wouldnt worry too much about removing them as you can set the one you decide on to be the default email client.
