will not load CD - Sorry!

Im really sorry if this has been out up before, but i dont no anything about computers or forums :o

I am using a presario f700.

I recently brought a new PC game and when i enter the disc into the drive, it does not spin, make any noise or do anything at all. Before i have entered CDs and other games and they have all worked, but now the disc drive will not register any CDs of any kind full stop. Do i need to download some software or do you think there is some physical damage to the dics drive?

Go in to your Bios and see if your DVD/CD drive is listed there.
Also, check all the leads, both power and data.

Take a look, and post your results.

You could also try clicking on Start and typing AutoPlay in the search. A box should come up that shows if AutoPlay is off or on.
