ok so my desktop mobo and cpu.... are shown as a laptop..... why?

lol, don't get me wrong mate. I like Ubuntu. I'm even thinking of ditching Suse and going back to it when 9.04 is released. But less problems than Windows??? Not with my Linux experiences

The source file for the info has obviously incorrectly flagged it as a laptop. Unless it's also affecting Ubuntu's power management etc, I wouldn't be worried about it.
