check this out i found these emails in unicode (utf-8) outlook express on C: drive. Then i found the same conversations on this vista forum by googling the emails that are on my pc. I've never set up outlook express, here is one email.
Its from jchelp <email address removed>

entered the server name correctly.
Account: 'email address removed', Server: 'email address removed', Protocol: POP3,
Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11003, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
then the link on this site that is the same as this email is: my email wont send - Microsoft Windows Vista Community Forums - Vistaheads
And the strange thing is thier both dated 6/2/2010, both the link and the email on my pc.
