When I start up my computer, the graphics card fan blade sounded awful. It happened in all in a sudden. I figured it was just the card wearing down, or aging. But after I logged in checked my email and Facebook, the computer froze with a strange clicking sound, like something was stuck and was prevented from going forward :S I opened up the case to find where the sound was coming from, but it I couldn't. I pulled out the graphics card (cleaned it and the PC from any dust) and sat it back in, and the computer came on perfectly quiet like it's supposed to. I was able to log into my account and do what ever I wanted, so I updated the graphics driver.
The next day when I turned it back on the loud sound was back. Before logging in I had the computer turn its self off. I let it sit for a few minutes and turned it back on. It came up silently and didn't freeze for the whole day.
The day after It started up loud once again, but I let it log in anyhow. The computer froze up shortly after. I switched it back on and updated anything else that I could. I also switched off as many programs from the start-up so that it would turn on the next morning with a clean boot. (I couldn't force Norton off)

Could this be a mix of both gpu and hdd failure? Could I update the bios to this mobo, or am I sol? I have found that turning the computer off before logging in and switching it back on awhile later will make the loud sound go away, but it will still sometimes freeze up.
