Where has all my disk space gone??

I have a Fujitsu Siemens laptop with 120GB hard drive. My problem is, there is only 78.2GB space left on it. I have hardly anything on it really so I am wondering where is has all gone. I have turned off the system restore and then turned it back on. I have run CCleaner, defragmented, done disk cleanup, so I dont know what to do next. I ran TreeSize and according to that there is 13,243.3MB taken up in the Windows folder and 10,099.7MB taken up in the Users folder, all the rest of the folder dont have that much in. Can anyone shed any light on this problem and tell me if I can safely delete any of these files to free up some disk space. Thank you in advance.

Check the temp folder, clear them out and check C:\Users\{your username}\appdata (hidden file) and clear out temp folders and check to see if any of your own file is taking up a lot of space, defrag your computer, do disk cleanup and download TuneUp Utilities 2009. I'm afraid that tuneup isn't a free utility but it provides 30-days free trial, I've been using it for over 1 year and you can rely on it.
TuneUp America - TuneUp Utilities 2009

Hope this helps

Manufacturers advertise as 1GB=1000MB, the computer see 1GB=1024MB so actually your laptop see 111GB(roughly).
Your shadow storage is 15% of your hard disc and it is roughly 15GB. You can reduce this following this Tutorial

HTH.
Edit: I forgot to mention the recovery partition 8GB(roughly). But do not touch this for your own good.

Many thanks to those people who replied so very quickly. Just to mention again, I did use Tuneup Utilities, CCleaner, I defragged, I did disk cleanup, I ran antivirus scan, SpyBot also. But does anyone know if I can safely delete some things from the 2 folders which seem to have so much in them? The folders I mean are the Windows which is 13,249.1GB and the Users folder which is 10,078.1GB.

I doubt that your going to gain much in the way of space in either of those folders without breaking something. I don't know how you have things set up, but your personal files may be in Users/your username folder as are many of the settings for your apps.

Remove unused windows features, Unistall unused applications, run disk cleanup(compress old files), delete restore points/backups(at your own risk). That should reclaim some of your disk space :)
