Did a fresh Vista system reload on one of my network computers... apparently forgot the password for the home network; can't get into it from the other computer.
Is there some way to reset a LOST network password?

Try using one of Bart's Boot Disks. That's the only way I know of how you can recover a lost password on any computer. You'll have to do it on the server computer, though, I imagine.

this is your wireless home network password?
Can you get to your router settings from your other computer?
I have a modem router via ethernet to my desktop and also a wireless connection to my laptop.
If your router password is the one you are looking for, I think routers have a reset button where you can go back to the factory password and reset a new one.
Instructions should be on the router company's support site..
Not expert am I, but I hope that helps..

Dont reset the router!!!!

Do you have any other computers connected to this device??? If you have another device connected to it then I can show you how to recover that password
