The Zune as we know it is gone; long live the Zune HD: 2-4-6-8, what will Microsoft eviscerate? The Zune lineup of 4, 8, 16, 80, and 120GB models. All of the current generation Zunes will be discontinued once the Zune HD drops on September 15. All that will be left are two Zune HD models priced at $220 and $290.

I have a 3yr old zune 30GB
I hate it!


I loved my old archos 20GB recorder ( drag/drop songs and/or folders and ability to view as explorer and choose as such)

I waited for the 2nd Gen Zune. I really don't understand people who like the old Zune (that plasticy-looking nav wheel looks awful). On the other hand, there's nothing to complain about the new Zunes, and the Zune HD looks fantastic!

I don't like Archos' new devices... I suggest looking into Cowon if you're thinking of getting a new portable device, they've got really nice stuff out now.
