Web Cam Help

Hello Everyone,

I currently have Vista Ultimate and this is my first post. My in-laws in Florida want to keep in contact with my family via the Web Cam on my Dell XPS computer. It has a web cam built in but can't find anything in the directions to figure how to use it. Can anyone help me with this? I'm finally able to spend some time trying to get used to the Vista program so if you can help me with this I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Hello TCD, and welcome to the Vista Forums

I am assuming that the webcam is already installed what you will need is an application that you can use to communicate through.

Microsoft's own windows live messenger has this functionality built in.

Windows Live Messenger

You will need to set up messenger on both computers and set-up an windows live account for each person/group involved. Oh. you will also need a microphone at each end but this is usually included with the webcam
